Anti-Gay Marriage Amendment Defeated in Senate

Sorry for the immature post, but

SUCK ON THAT, BIGOTS!

Ahem. What I mean to say is that I'd like to register my appreciation of the 51 senators who voted against the proposed amendment. It should have been more, but it got the job done.

fuck the government for even spending three days discussing this topic. fuck them all for wasting their time on BS when there are more important things.. LIKE HOW WE ARE BEING FUCKING WIRETAPPED.

Government = worthless.

Who's being wiretapped?

well actually, nobody's really sure, not even congress. Last I heard the NSA wouldn't disclose who was being wiretapped because it would breach National security and help the "Terrorists".

What's the old saying about democracy and secrecy?

What makes me mad about this whole "defining marriage" bullshit is that there are more pressing issues. People are dying in Iraq. Osama "Boggieman" Ladin is still at large. The marriage issues, as well as the flag burning admendment are just political ploys. It's so very sad.

Yes, its true. But its much easier to attack issues that have no defense and are easier to gain support against (i.e. gay marriage) than try to convince your country people that you are actually doing something about the serious problems in the world (i.e. everything else).

Any government looks good in the eyes of its people when it has no opposition.
